Former Bellator champion Alexander Shlemenko commented on Khamzat Chimaev's championship ambitions.

"As for the possible fight between Usman and Chimaev - well who did Khamzat fight? Who did he miss those two or four blows from? Nobody will even remember the names of those fighters. You can ask anyone - no one will name them, there will be silence. Let Chimaev fight a fighter whom people know. Only after that can we make any predictions. A fight with Covington? I'm not interested in that fight, and I have no interest in Chimaev's fights, I don't like his style," Shlemenko said.
