Porter: "I guarantee you my victory over Crawford"

WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford (37-0, 28 KOs) will face former champion Shawn Porter (31-3-1, 17 KOs) on November 20 in Las Vegas. Prior to the bout, Porter announces his victory with great confidence.

"I'm confident before the Crawford fight because that's the mindset you need when you get in the ring. Also, I've analyzed Crawford's performance. I've checked everyone he's competed against and I think I have a combination of strengths that none of his opponents have," Porter stated.

"The power of the punch, the ability to dodge, duck under punches, get to the opponent's torso, head movement, attacks, changing attack levels. I can combine all that. I know Terence can do it too, so our showdown will be a great fight. I guarantee you my victory, it's a result of confidence, skill and preparation. Every fighter should step into the ring with confidence to win," Porter added.

Porter, boxer of Al Haymon and his PBC project, had his last fight last August, winning on points over Sebastian Formella and returning after losing by split decision to IBF champion Errol Spence Jr. in a unification bout in September 2019 in which Porter lost his WBC belt.

Terence Crawford, a boxer for promoter Top Rank and ESPN, defeated Kell Brook in his last appearance last November in Las Vegas.
