The legendary MMA fighter Fedor Emelianenko recalled his fight with Mirko Filipovic of Croatia. Fedor said that he didn't go out in that fight to avenge his brother Alexander, whom Mirko had previously beaten early.

"Cro Cop I was interested in processing, to outwork him on his territory... I wasn't avenging my brother in that fight. That was made up, attached to that story. I try not to include emotions, I went out to fight for myself, for my country. The Russian and the Croatian came out. The Japanese made such a very bad story... They wanted Mirko to become the champion," said "The Last Emperor".
