Timothy Johnson has put his next opponent Fedor Emelianenko on par with basketball legend Michael Jordan.

"Stylistically we will have a great confrontation with Fedor. I usually make this analogy: It's like if a Division 1 basketball player tries to make it in the NBA and he has to beat Michael Jordan in one-on-one. He'll probably win, but he's still Michael Jordan."

A bout between Emelianenko and Johnson will take place on October 23 in Moscow as part of Bellator's debut in Russia.
