Famed MMA fighter Fedor Emelianenko does not consider Alexander Shlemenko a top Russian middleweight.
"For you Shlemenko is a top fighter, but for me Anatoly is a top fighter. I know what he's capable of, I see how he works. I think that Anatoly is one step higher than Alexander, as offensive as it might sound to Alexander and his fans... I've seen Alexander's fights, seen how he moves and punches. I happened to be once in his room. From the questions that came from him, I understand that Anatoly is different. Different in wrestling, striking technique," said Emelianenko.
