Shlemenko: "I'm definitely for Usyk, he's our brother"

Former Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko commented on the upcoming fight of Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk.

"I'm unequivocally for Usyk. That's our brother. The guy is from Ukraine, we are all brothers: Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians. I like him better. I would like Usyk to win. He will be faster, while Oleksandr is smaller. He must be able to control his opponent due to his high speed. Plus Usyk fought in lighter weight categories at the same Olympics. Usyk will be ahead of Joshua in terms of speed. I hope it works out," Shlemenko said.

Joshua vs Usyk fight will take place on the night of September 26 at Tottenham Hotspur Arena in London. The WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles of the British will be at stake.
