Nick Diaz could challenge Khabib Nurmagomedovif he beats Robbie Lawler with confidence. This information was reported by Chael Sonnen.

"I've been told that if Nick Diaz gets a dominant win over Robbie Lawler, he will challenge Khabib Nurmagomedov right in the octagon. He'll challenge him to a welterweight superfight. If Nick Diaz actually does that, it won't be his style, because he has extremely rarely challenged anyone in the past. Nick seems to believe that he can get not only a response, but an acceptance from Khabib...," the fighter stated.

Recall that Diaz's fight with Lawler will take place on September 26 as part of UFC 266.
