Lawler vs. Diaz at middleweight

The bout between Robbie Lawler and Nick Diaz will take place in the middleweight limit. This was reported by well-known journalist and insider Ariel Helwani.

"The specific reason for this change has not been disclosed. The fight remains a five-round fight. Both fighters have experience in both the welterweight and middleweight divisions and have expressed a desire to lighten their weight competition," the reporter wrote.

Recall, the fight between Lawler and Diaz will take place on September 26 as part of the 266th UFC tournament.
