Former IBF world junior middleweight champion Russian Roman Karmazin shared his expectations of the upcoming fight between WBO, WBA and IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and mandatory WBO title challenger Oleksandr Usyk.
"It's so hard to say who will win, but I will certainly be rooting for Alexander. First of all, we have to root for our people, and secondly, I have a personal sympathy for Oleksandr.
If the fight goes the whole distance, Usyk can win, but Joshua can hit. Joshua is bigger, more powerful, and he's a real, natural superpower. The fight will take place in England, and there the judges can pull, give the win to Joshua. That's why this fight is very difficult to predict.
I don't doubt Sasha technically or tactically, but he can hit, and it can happen in the late rounds. If Usyk wins, it will only be by judicial decision. Unfortunately, he is not as powerful as Joshua," said Karmazin.
The Joshua vs Usyk fight will take place on September 25 at Tottenham Hotspur Arena in London.
