Crawford to make $6 million, Porter $4 million

Terence Crawford (37-0, 28 KOs) will receive $6 million for his bout with Shawn Porter (31-3-1, 17 KOs). Porter's purse is expected to exceed $4 million. At stake there will be the WBO world title held by Crawford.

In the United States, the fight will be televised on ESPN pay-per-view. For both fighters it will be a record-breaking payday in their professional careers.

Contract negotiations for this bout have been underway for the past several weeks. Promoter bids was scheduled for Tuesday, with several promoters expected to join, but teams representing the opponents announced the agreement at the last minute.
