Koreshkov on how he took up dancing as a child

Former Bellator champion Andrey Koreshkov recalled how he happened to go to ballroom dancing as a child.

"Dancing was not my choice. For some reason my mother and grandmother liked it. They said, 'First you learn to dance, then you can fight.' Actually, dancing was also beneficial: although it was ballroom dancing, but a lot of attention was paid to stretching, posture, and now my back, probably, is straight, I'm not stooped. Coordination is good," the fighter stated.

He also added that he took dancing classes from the age of 6 to 9 and then joined fighting. For about a year he combined classes in the sections, and then completely concentrated on combat sports.
