Khabib names his first purse for the fight

Khabib Nurmagomedov, the former UFC lightweight champion, named the amount of purse he received for his first fight.

"I earned $2,000 for my first fight in MMA, I was 19 years old. My dad said it was time to move to the pros and I was offered my first opponent. I said, "Really give me $2,000 for one fight? Really?" They said, "Yes." That was a lot of money then, 13 years ago," Nurmagomedov said.
