Former UFC champion George St-Pierre expressed the opinion that Conor McGregor has the power to resuscitate his career after a series of poor performances and a bad leg fracture.
"Conor is still relatively young, but every fighter's sense of age is different. You could say a fighter is his mileage. I think Conor can still come back, however there are other guys for whom there is no turning point - their best days are gone.
"When you're over 40, you're past your peak athletic ability. Of course, the amount of knowledge you have is always going to increase, but your athletic skills will gradually go down, especially your recovery," the Canadian told Arnold Sports Festival UK.
On July 11 McGregor lost to Dustin Poirier by technical knockout, breaking his leg in the first round.
