Khabib comments on the Russian soccer team

Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov commented on the Russian national soccer team's performance against Croatia.

"The team is fresh, a lot of new players - we need to play well. For us the best players were Zakharyan and Guilherme. Yes, Smolov was missing. We could bring him, and Makarov. These two could have been... but it was a good game," the fighter said.

The match Russia vs Croatia was played in the World Cup 2022 qualifying round and ended in a draw.
