Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov believes Timothy Johnson will be a difficult opponent for Fedor Emelianenko because of the Russian's age. They will meet on October 23 at the Bellator tournament in Moscow.

"When Fedor Emelianenko first left the sport, my father told me that it's not Fedor leaving the sport, but the sport left him. Because every man has his peak. Like it or not, there won't be a second peak.

"Fedor is already 45 years old, that's not a fighting age, so let's be honest. Timothy is a very dangerous, most dangerous opponent. I don't think Emelianenko picked him, I think Bellator offered him and he accepted. Of course, in the heavyweight division Johnson does not represent any significance, but for Fedor he is a real opponent," Nurmagomedov said.
