Gegard Mousasi is open to a duel with the "monster" Romero

Bellator middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi announced his readiness to face former UFC star Yoel Romero.

On August 13 at Bellator 264 the Dutchman will defend his belt in a duel with John Salter.

“Salter is the number one contender. I don't know who else is in the Bellator middleweight division. He was the only guy I thought about fighting. Bellator has no big names yet. Yes, Yoel Romero is a big name, but he comes back after three defeats in a row and, moreover, usually you need to fight at least once before a title bout.

"Who wants to fight Yoel Romero? He's a monster. He's in Bellator, and if he can meet middleweight limit, we'll fight. I am a fighter. If they give me a contract, I will fight,” Musashi said to MMAJunkie.
