Eddie Hearn announced that former super lightweight champion Amir Khan (34-5, 21 KOs) may face Conor Benn (18-0, 12 KOs) in December. At the same time, the head of the Matchroom Boxing denied rumors of a possible duel between Khan and Kell Brook.
At the end of July, Benn was supposed to meet Adrian Granados on the first night of the Fight Camp series, but was forced to withdraw from the fight due to a positive coronavirus test. The fight against the American is postponed to the beginning of September.
Benn, 24, last fought in April. Khan hasn't fought in over two years, and in his last appearance between the ropes he defeated Billy Dib by TKO.
