Taylor to defend four titles in December in Glasgow

Josh Taylor

According to Bob Arum, on December 18 in Glasgow, Josh Taylor (18-0, 13 KO) will face Jack Catterall (26-0, 13 KO). Taylor defeated Jose Ramirez in May, unifying the IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC super lightweight titles.

Earlier it was reported that this fight will take place in the second half of November, but the date was postponed due to the scheduled fight of Terence Crawford and Shawn Porter. The 27-year-old Catterall will compete as the official contender for the World Boxing Organization belt. The Englishman had his last professional fight in November last year.

This year, Taylor was going to have two more fights, but in the end he has only one fight. It is possible that next year the 30-year-old Scotsman will move to welterweight.
