AKA gym head coach Javier Mendez condemned the behavior of the former UFC two-weight champion Conor McGregor.

On July 11, Khabib Nurmagomedov congratulated Dustin Poirier on his victory over the Irishman, noting that "good always triumphs over evil." Three weeks later, McGregor replied to the Russian, writing: "Coronavirus is good, and father is evil?" The post was later deleted.

“Who might like this comment? How many people have lost their families and businesses because of covid, and you laugh at that? You say, “coronavirus is good and father is evil”? Are you kidding? You're an idiot! It's just a blow below the belt for all those unhappy people who might be watching this podcast or reading the comments. This is another stab to their hearts. He's a complete idiot out of control,” Mendez stated on the Real Quick with Mike Swick podcast.

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov died from the effects of the coronavirus in July last year.
