Holm calls Tate out, Miesha answers

Former UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm expressed a desire to have a rematch with another former titleholder Miesha Tate, who returned to the cage after almost five years of hiatus.

On July 17 at UFC on ESPN 26, Tate knocked out Marion Reno in the first round.

“I would like to get a chance to take revenge for my defeat. Do you want to see Holm - Tate 2?” Holm tweeted.

Tate commented on the former rival's statement at a press conference after the tournament:

“With all due respect, they can all get this fight. I don't know where I am in the rankings now - I never say that I deserve this or that. I need to keep climbing. I will be happy with a fight with any rival who will help me climb to the top of the rating. I have no doubt that one day we will fight Holly again."

In March 2016, Tate defeated Holm by submission.
