MMA star Nate Diaz commented on his defeat to Leon Edwards at UFC 263 and announced his desire to return to the Octagon in the fall.
“In the end, I accept his defeat, but I still feel that I am a stronger fighter no matter what. No hard feelings for Leon, congratulations, but if you really fight, then only with the best. Of course, I would like everything to go in my favor, but everything is fine.
"I want to be back in business in three or four months. If I hadn't taken damage, I would have returned to the cage next week. I just didn't have the motivation to train as I had already put all the hard work into our initial fight and then it came to me to be late for a whole month and it sucks.
"I have no concrete opponent in mind. I want to go home and see what's going on, who is doing what and who wants to fight. If it makes sense and is a good idea for both sides, then let's dance,” Diaz said at a press conference.
