Kudryashov and Romanov make weight

On Friday, in Khimki near Moscow, a fight for the WBC silver belt in the bridgerweight will take place. Dmitry Kudryashov (24-3, 23 KOs) faces Evgeny Romanov (15-0, 11 KOs). Kudryashov and Romanov are currently ranked third and fourth respectively in the World Boxing Council's new division rankings, and it is highly likely that the winner of this fight will compete for the title later this year.

Kudryashov showed 223 on the scales, Romanov was 222. The fight will be shown live on the Ren-TV Russian channel, beginning on May 21 at 4 pm ET.
