Parker defeats Fa on points

In the main event of the evening in Oakland, New Zealand, former world champion Joseph Parker (26-2, 20 KOs) defeated by unanimous decision previously undefeated Junior Fa (19-1, 10 KOs). The scores were 119-109, 115-113, 117-111. It should be noted that the fight was very competitive and what is happening in the ring, rather, reflects the score 115-113, but not 119-109.

As a result of the fight, Parker tried on the WBO Oriental regional heavyweight belt.

Parker and Fa met four times in amateurs, in which they each recorded two victories as an asset.
