Nurmagomedov's coach names the fight which can make Khabib to return

The coach of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, Javier Mendez expressed the opinion that an undefeated Russian could return to the cage just for the sake of a fight with the legendary George St. Pierre.

“The most important thing to remember is that Khabib must ask his mother for permission. I think the only option for which he can return to battles is a duel with St. Pierre. Perhaps, in this case, the management will have a chance to return it.

I am not saying this will happen because I don’t know myself, I just think that Saint Pierre may be the only option. Fighting the Canadian is what his father always wanted. If the promotion manages to organize this fight and Khabib gets permission from his mother, then this can take place.

If he asked my opinion, then I would tell him: a duel with Saint-Pierre or do not resume your career. But he never asked me, so there was no such conversation,” Mendez said in an interview with Submission Radio.

Last October Khabib defeated Justin Gaethje and announced his retirement.
