McGregor vs. Poirier: the purses of the fighters

The British edition of The Independent released data on the purses of Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. So, the Irishman will receive 5 million dollars for the upcoming fight. And his opponent will make $1 million. It should be noted that we are talking about guaranteed, “naked” fees, which do not include all kinds of bonuses and accruals.

The bout of McGregor and Poirier will take place on January 23 and will lead the tournament of UFC 257. The fight will take place in the lightweight limit, and, for sure, its winner will receive a title fight.

In the first fight McGregor got rid of Poirier ahead of schedule in the first round.
