Briedis wants to return at the end of March, possibly in the heavyweights

IBF Cruiserweight Champion and The Ring Magazine belt holder Mairis Briedis (27-1, 19 KOs) said in an interview to Anson Wainwright that he would like to return to the ring at the end of March.

The Latvian did not name a specific rival and the place of his return, but suggested that he could try his hand at heavyweights again.

The last time Briedis fought in September, defeating Yunier Dorticos on points. The fight became the final of the World Boxing Super Series tournament.
