Lopez and Kambosos teams are ready to sign contracts
The contracts for the fight of the new lightweight king Teofimo Lopez (16-0, 12 KOs) with George Kambosos Jr. (19-0, 10 KOs) are ready and awaiting signatures. The fight is to take place in April at one of the stadiums in Melbourne or Sydney. The event will be organized with the participation of spectators.
Lopez, who defeated Vasyl Lomachenko in October, owns the IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC franchise championship belts. Kambosos is the official contender for the International Boxing Federation title. In October, the Australian won the IBF eliminator by defeating Lee Selby on points.
On the same evening, the third fight of Joshua Franco and Andrew Moloney may take place. The first fight of these boxers ended with Franco's victory, and the second was declared no contest.
