Alvarez vs Yildirim to be held in the USA?

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Saul Alvarez's first fight (54-1-2, 36 KOs) in his native Mexico since 2011 will probably not take place this year.

Canelo's fight in his homeland against Avni Yildirim (21-2, 14 KOs) was supposed to take place at one of the Mexican stadiums at the turn of February and March, but everything indicates that the fight will eventually be moved to the United States.

In December, Saul Alvarez won the WBA and WBC super middleweight titles defeating Callum Smith. Avni Yildirim is a mandatory contender for the WBC title.
