Alexander Povetkin (36-2-1, 25 KOs) does not want to comment on the words of Dillian Whyte (27-2, 18 KOs), who said that the Russian did not actually have a coronavirus and postponed the rematch planned for November 21 for other reasons.

“These are only his guesses, but it's better for him [that the rematch has been postponed]. After such a hard knockout he has more time to rest. I have all the medical records. How can this be fiction? He likes to talk a lot, but I signed a rematch clause and I want to meet him again in the ring,” Povetkin said.

Recently, in the context of the new date for Whyte's fight with Povetkin, the date of March 20 was questioned due to a significant increase in the number of cases of coronavirus infection in the UK and the associated temporary cancellation of boxing events.
