Eddie Hearn is pleased with the negotiations on the heavyweight unification fight of Anthony Joshua (24-1, 21 KOs) and Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs).
“We are very close to concluding a contract, now we are sending papers to each other. Everything has been going very well in recent weeks. I strongly believe that we will see this fight in February or June. We are all working for the same goal,” promoter of AJ told SiriusXMBoxing.
It is already clear from earlier preliminary agreements of Joshua and Fury that the British champions will face off twice in the ring. The division of the total purse for the first fight will be equal. In the second fight the winner will be guaranteed 60% of the total profit.
