At the end of January, Vasyl Lomachenko (14-2, 10 KOs), who had surgery on his right shoulder in October, may return to full-fledged boxing training. Now the Ukrainian can only run and do light loads, and he will have to wait until he returns to full form.
The 32-year-old Ukrainian will be able to return to the ring in May. At the moment it is unknown in which weight category Lomachenko will continue his career. In his last lightweight performance, Lomachenko lost on points to Teofimo Lopez and lost all his championship belts.
Lomachenko would like to have a rematch with the American, but Lopez will most likely play the next fight in Australia. In April, his confrontation with George Kambosos, who is the official contender for the IBF belt in 135, may take place.
