Alexander Usyk (17-0, 13 KOs) and Derek Chisora (32-9, 23 KOs) have passed the official weigh-in procedure. Usyk's weight was 98.54 kg, Chisora's - 115.89 kg. Thus, the difference was over 17 kilograms.
Chisora came to the weigh-in in white and black make-up with the inscription "War" on his chest and the rivals looked long and tensely into each other's eyes at the face off. After that, Chisora promised that he would either knock Usyk out, or he would remain in his corner and would not come out to continue the fight after one of the rounds. Usyk, in turn, said that the weight with which he approached this fight could have been greater, and that in the fight with Chisora he would try to dispel all the doubts of critics about his chances in the heavyweight division.
