Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (51-5-1, 33 KOs) is not going to hang up his gloves yet. The former world middleweight champion will return to the ring on November 21 at a boxing night in Mexico against Nicolas Ezequiel Masseroni (19-1, 19 KOs).

In September, Chavez Jr. unexpectedly lost by technical decision to Mario Abel Casarez. The fight was stopped after six rounds due to the cut of the Mexican's left eyebrow, despite the fact that during the fight the injury did not seem too serious. As it turned out in the end, by this time Casarez was in the lead on the judges' scores.

The September performance marked Chavez's first challenge after losing to Daniel Jacobs last year. In a fight with the American, the Mexican fighter surrendered after five rounds, which greatly upset his fans at the evening in Phoenix.
