Gaethje says Khabib was cherry picking his opponents

Justin Gaethje, the interim UFC lightweight champion, said that his next opponent, Khabib Nurmagomedov, the champion of the promotion in this weight, was looking for comfortable opponents.

“He had comfortable opponents throughout his career. I couldn't find fights myself. I had to raise in weight and fight with those who could not find rivals too... " Gaethje said.

The fight of Khabib and Gaethje will take place on October 24 on The Fight Island and will lead the 254th UFC tournament.
