Warrington vs Xu unification on December 5 in England?

On December 5 England may host a unification bout in the featherweight division between IBF champion Josh Warrington (30-0, 7 KOs) and Can Xu (18-2, 3 KOs), the holder of the WBA championship belt.

Negotiations on this fight have been going on for several weeks and are close to completion. Warrington, 29, re-signed Matchroom Boxing earlier this year but has not fought a single fight since. Can Xu last fought in November.

WBO super middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders (29-0, 14 KOs) is expected to return at the same evening. The name of his rival is still unknown.
