British promoter Eddie Hearn has announced that he plans to host an evening of boxing on November 28 with WBO super middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders (29-0, 14 KOs) and IBF featherweight champion Josh Warrington (30-0, 7 KOs).

Saunders is still one of the potential opponents for Saul Alvarez and is waiting for the tense situation between the Mexican and the DAZN platform to unfold. The British team, however, is working on an alternative scenario and his return to the ring at an evening organized in England.

The 31-year-old boxer last competed in November last year. In May, Saunders came close to contracting a duel with Alvarez. The fight was officially scheduled to be announced in March, the terms of the contract were agreed, but the outbreak of the coronavirus has frozen the entire boxing calendar.

Warrington had his last fight in October, winning by quick knockout over Sofiane Takoucht. It is not yet known who the 29-year-old Leeds boxer will cross gloves with in November.
