New date of Usik vs Chisora is officially announced
Matchroom Boxing has officially announced that the highly anticipated fight of Derek Chisora (32-9 23 KOs) and Oleksandr Usyk (17-0, 13 KOs) will take place on October 31 in London. Due to the increase in the number of cases of coronavirus in the UK, the duel will be held without spectators. Broadcast in the UK will be via the pay-per-view system on Sky Sports, in the US it lands on the DAZN platform.
Oleksandr Usyk is a mandatory challenger for the WBO heavyweight belt currently owned by Anthony Joshua. The confrontation with Chisora will be the first big challenge in the royal division for the former undisputed cruiserweight champion.
