The Ring magazine's website has published the results of a survey of journalists and boxing experts about the outcome of the final in the WBSS cruiserweight tournament, in which Mairis Briedis (26-1, 19 KOs) and Uniel Dorticos (24-1, 22 KOs) will meet. The overwhelming majority of survey participants chose Briedis as the winner. 14 experts saw the Latvian as the owner of the Muhammad Ali Trophy, and the Cuban was chosen as the winner by half of the respondents - 7 people.

At stake in the Briedis vs Dorticos meeting there will be the IBF and Ring magazine championship belts.

According to the bookmakers, Briedis is also the favorite of the upcoming meeting, bets on the Latvian boxer are accepted at 1.67 coefficients, while on Dorticos - 2.77. The most likely outcome is Briedis' victory on points (2.25), the Latvian has slightly less chances of an early victory (3.75). Bookmakers believe that if Dorticos wins in this meeting, then, rather, by knockout (4.33), but not on points (5.50).
