Alexander Povetkin's (36-2-1, 25 KOs) promoter Andrei Ryabinsky doesn't think his boxer's victory over former mandatory WBC heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte (27-2, 18 KOs) on Saturday will be his ticket to the fight for the world title.

“Now the situation has changed a bit, but we need to somehow solve it. The whole situation with the mandatory challenger is difficult. I think now it will last up to one or two years," predicts the head of the promotion organization World Boxing, who a few days ago already announced that Sasha - in accordance with the contract - will soon begin preparations for a rematch against Whyte.

"Rematch in such fights is a common thing," added Andrei Rabinsky, who personally prefers to have a second fight against Whyte in Russia.
