Cormier has a ruptured cornea after Miocic fight

Former UFC two-weight champion Daniel Cormier was severely injured in the fight against Stipe Miocic on August 16 at the 252nd UFC tournament. In an interview to Ariel Helwani DC reported that he suffered a ruptured cornea.

“The doctor said he didn’t need surgery, but they would follow the healing process to know for sure…” Helwani added.

Cormier lost to Miocic by unanimous decision. After this fight, Daniel decided to end his career.
