On December 5 in London Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs) will have to defend his WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight belts against Kubrat Pulev (28-1, 14 KOs). Promoter Eddie Hearn asks AJ's team not to underestimate the Bulgarian and choose their sparring partners better than before their last year's defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr.

"Pulev is very experienced, technically good and knows how to punch," the head of Matchroom Boxing described Joshua's rival. "We'll need to look for tall sparring partners who can emulate his boxing style."

“Before the rematch with Ruiz, the sparring partners were perfectly matched, this is a very important question. Anthony will not repeat his mistake again and is not going to ignore this moment. The sparring partners before the fight against Pulev will be great!" Hearn promised.

Anthony Joshua, who has faced a minor knee injury in recent weeks, returned to the gym a few days ago and began preparations for his December return.
