Volkov's manager is sure that Alexander will remain in the top of UFC heavyweights

Manager of Alexander Volkov, Ivan Bannikov in an interview with TASS, said that a defeat to Curtis Blades will not prevent his ward from staying in the top of the UFC heavyweight.

“He will remain in the top, but the path to the championship will be longer,” the functionary said.

Volkov lost to Blades by unanimous decision. Their fight took place on June 21 in Las Vegas as the main event of the UFC On ESPN 11 tournament.
