July 18 will be the first night of boxing by Eddie Hearn after the break caused by the coronavirus pandemic. This will be the first Matchroom Boxing event in the open air to be shown with drones.

“We do not want to start our evenings too early. We want to prepare well and wait at the same time, because we hope that in two months the situation with the coronavirus epidemic in the UK will be much better. In the end, we must provide emergency and medical assistance to fighters, and doctors have something to do today,” Hearn explained.

Boxing evenings will take place in the garden of Matchroom Headquarters. Spectators will not be able to visit them, and fans will see five fights at each such event. In these fights only local boxers will fight.

One of the few exceptions may be Alexander Povetkin, who is preparing for a fight against interim WBC champion Dillian Whyte. This fight is due to take place in August.
