$10 million is the sum Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) could presumably demand for a temporary refusal of a contract for the third fight against the WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs). This was announced in a column in The Athletic by Lance Pugmire.

The Bronze Bomber's refusal of immediate rematch against Fury is one of the two main conditions that must be met in order to lead the Englishman to a unification bout against WBO, WBA and IBF champion Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs). The second condition is the temporary refusal of Kubrat Pulev (28-1, 14 KOs) from his rights for the championship fight against Anthony Joshua.

At the moment, it is unclear who will invest in compensation for Wilder and Pulev, but it is assumed that the entire procedure will be financed by an investor from the Arabian Peninsula, who will consider this as part of the cost of organizing Fury vs Joshua fight.
