Bob Arum argues that talking on the fight for the title of undisputed heavyweight champion of Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs) does not make sense, since both boxers are required to hold the other fights - Fury against Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs), and Joshua against Kubrat Pulev (28-1, 14 KOs).
The promoter of the “King of the Gypsies” claims that the widely discussed scenario in which Wilder and Pulev temporarily give up their chances of a champion fight in exchange for an adequate reward is unrealistic.
“At the moment, talking about money for Wilder and Pulev is ridiculous,” the head of Top Rank says. "We cannot print money. Who will pay for it?”
“It's easy to say: pay me. But who the hell does that do? Let's wait for the duels of Fury vs Wilder and Joshua vs Pulev,” Bob Arum decided to calm the appetites for the great unification.
