On Saturday, Nicaragua will host one of the first boxing evenings since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. In a country with a population of 6 million people, only 10 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed.

2 patients died, 7 recovered and one patient is currently on treatment. Most of those infected were carriers of the disease from other countries, so Nicaragua is now trying to function normally.

The main event of the upcoming Saturday will be an 8-round lightweight bout between Robin Zamora (15-7, 8 KOs) and Ramiro Blanco (18-7-3, 10 KOs). Within the evening 8 professional fights should take place.

The return to organizing boxing evenings in Japan, on the contrary, has been delayed. Until recently, it was planned that the first events will take place in June, but it is already known that they will not take place before July.
