The team of Kubrat Pulev (28-1, 14 KOs) insists that Eddie Hearn, the promoter of Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs), organizing the championship battle for the three heavyweight belts. The duel of Joshua and Pulev was scheduled for June 20 at the Tottenham stadium in London, but due to the pandemic coronavirus it was canceled. According to the Bulgarian team the fight could be organized without the participation of the audience.

"Safety is our priority, but it is time to separate the boys from the men," Ivaylo Gotzev stated. "The evening of boxing will take place, we can not allow fear to block our plans. Now instant 15-minute tests are available. Although it is impossible to pass 70,000 fans to the stadium, we can check about a hundred people, necessary for good TV production."

"People need entertainment, especially in sports, when they are in isolation for so long. You can get sick from fever of Covid-19 virus, but you can also develop a fever due to claustrophobia, if you do not take care of your mental health. Sport is needed as Netflix, due to which people can stop focusing on fear of getting ill," John Wirth said.

On the other hand, Bob Arum the promoter of Pulev doesn't want to hurry with the immediate title clash. At least, so says Eddie Hearn.

"I talked to Arum on phone yesterday, and also with Pulev team. Arum responded like this: Gentlemen, why do we waste time on these calls? Let's talk at the end of the month, when we will know more," the head of the Matchroom Boxing said.
