Usyk vs Chisora ​​and Whyte vs Povetkin will not take place in May

British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) extended the ban on sporting events until the end of May. Earlier, the ban was set to the end of April.

BBBofC decision means that two big nights of boxing will not be held on the scheduled dates in PPV - Alexander Povetkin vs Dillian Whyte (May 2) and Dereck Chisora ​​vs Alexander Barbel (23 May).

A few days ago the organizer of both events Eddie Hearn announced that he is considering the possibility of postponement of these events. Povetkin vs White may be rescheduled for mid-June, and Usyk vs Chisora ​​- for the end of June or the beginning of July. Also Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev fight is likely to be shifted from June 20 to July 25.
