Light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol (17-0, 11 KO's) is waiting for an opponent for his next fight. Manager Vadim Kornilov would like to see a duel of the Russian against former super middleweight champion undefeated Gilberto Ramirez (40-0, 26 KOs).

Two weeks ago promoter Eddie Hearn was considered a fight of Bivol and Badou Jack (22-3-3, 13 KOs), while Kornilov insists on the candidacy of Ramirez.

"We hope that Dmitry will return to the ring at the turn of March or in April. Zurdo Ramirez would be perfect for him. This would be an interesting fight, for television and for the fans," Kornilov said.

The record of Bivol has wins over such names like Sullivan Barrera, Isaac Chilemba, Jean Pascal and Joe Smith Jr.
