Floyd Mayweather is the highest paid athlete of the decade

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has become the highest-paid athlete of the decade. According to The Forbes magazine, the former world champion in five weight categories earned 915 million dollars for the last ten years.

Mayweather earned the biggest purse for the fight against Manny Pacquiao (about 250 million dollars). Mayweather agreed to a slightly lower fee for the victory over UFC star Conor McGregor.

Manny Pacquiao also found his place in the top ten. The only champion in eight weight categories, who is still an active boxer, earned $435 million in a decade.
